---The two of us out for a walk around the hotel. The weather was so gorgeous the entire time we were here, it was kind of sad that Sean had to be in seminars all day. Luckily they ended a bit early today, so we had a chance to get out together before dinner---

---This is what happens when you fall asleep Sunday afternoon while watching a movie with the kids. The 3 year old girl decides she needs her nails painted, and her 6 year old brother decides that he is fully qualified to give her a manicure and pedicure. It could have been a lot worse - they didn't spill any, but Anise didn't wait for it to dry (which would have taken a couple hours based on how thick it was put on), and she in turn got it all over the walls, the floors and herself---

---So, this is kind of all we've been doing - watching the Olympics. We may be addicts. We'll see how we do when we're cut off cold turkey in about a week...it may be painful---

---How do you entertain 2 kids for an entire week off school in the middle of winter? Have them make butter of course! They think it's fun, and it wears them out from all the shaking they have to do - it's win-win for everyone!---

---Sean and Kaden playing PS3 before bed. And yes, Kaden is crying - Sean was beating him and he was quite upset by it all. Guess they'll pick a different game next time---

---Kaden was inspired by the snowboarding while watching the Olympics, and decided to give it a try himself using packing tape and a cereal box. The result - some great entertainment for Sean and I from the window---

---The kids playing outside in the water and slush. They were soaking wet and frozen by the time they came inside. It was so nice to see the two of them enjoying the warm weather together---

---What you get when a 3 year old gets a hold of the lotion and decides she has too much on her hands. It's also all over the mirror and wall in the bathroom. Guess I need to hide it in a different spot!---

---Kaden at Aggie Days. His class went for a field trip today, and I was lucky enough to get to drive and supervise. The kids and I had a lot of fun. We got to watch a cow being milked, a sheep being sheared and made some canola oil.---

---The clock Anise and I made for our Mommy-Anise date. The boys went to see Avatar, and us girls stayed home and made a clock and listened to ABBA. Hehehe. I made one of these with Kaden a couple of years ago, and had one to make with Anise, but have never done it until tonight. We had fun cutting and gluing and making it look pretty. She wouldn't go to bed until it was hanging in the perfect spot on her wall---

---This is where I spent most of today, in the fetal position, moaning. The rest of the day was spent in the bathroom. I was sick. Really really sick. Not the sore throat, stuffed up nose, coughing sick. The other kind. The one that isn't considered proper etiquette to talk about. Thank goodness my Mom was able to get Kaden from school for me, and help me get the kids in bed. Sean was on call, so he came home when he could - checked me out, made sure it wasn't gall bladder stuff, you know, did the Doctor thing. The kids did pretty good too. Anise was left to her own devices for pretty much the entire day, and I 'm happy to say she would probably fair pretty well for an extended period of time. She managed to get herself some milk, without making a mess, and foraged for goldfish crackers all day. She even came and "read" me some stories at some point.---

---Two of the clipboards that Anise and I made today. She's becoming quite the little crafter *wipe tear from eye* She helped me pick out the paper for each one, told me what color ribbon to use, and picked out all the buttons and showed me where they should go. We're not quite done the one on the right - Anise says it needs a birdie on it still. And buttons. She is just as fascinated by buttons as I am, which is fine because I have quite the collection to use!---
