---So, it's definitely not my favorite picture of this blog so far, but here I am at 25 weeks. Kaden took this for me, since Sean's been on call all weekend, and I'm just not coordinated enough to do it myself---

---The kids fooling around together for the camera. We now have about a million of these pictures. They just kept saying, "take a picture of this funny face" It was all pretty hilarious---

---The pizza buns I made today. We love pizza buns, but they are so expensive to buy, so I thought I'd give it a try making them myself. They turned out great! I will be making these again---

---Kaden (#3) at his soccer game tonight. He is one fast little guy, and can get around most players - including those who are twice his size. Go Kaden Go!---

January 26, 2010
--- This is where I spent my entire day. No kidding. With only one vehicle until Sean's car can get fixed my trusty van has been in high demand. My day went like this:
8:15am - take Kaden to school (Sean did that one. Thank-you!)
8:45am - take Sean to the hospital for work
9am - Anise and I get to Grandma Frache's house
9:45am - I remember I forgot to put the stew in the crockpot and drive home to get it going
10:15am - return to Grandma Frache's house
12 noon - fetch Sean from the hospital, and bring him to Grandma Frache's house for lunch
1pm - take Sean to the clinic he is working at in the afternoon. Just so happens I'm scheduled for my prenatal diabetes screening test and prenatal check up at the same time, so I stay too
2:30pm - finish up with my blood work and check-up and head back to Grandma's house to get Anise
2:50pm - take Anise to a birthday party
3:10pm - stop at home to check on dinner - if it's not edible at this point we are having sandwiches for dinner and I need to be prepared for that scenario. Lucky for me, the stew was doing fine
3:20pm - take a quick picture of my front seat in the van, while praying that the neighbors aren't watching - they already seem a bit wary of me
3:30pm - pick up Kaden and his good buddy Alden from school.
3:50pm - drop Alden off at home
4pm - Kaden and I arrive at home, and I frantically set about making biscuits to go with the stew
4:50pm - Kaden and I leave to pick Sean up from the clinic
5:20pm - pick Anise up at the birthday party (20minutes late!)
5:30pm - get home and convince Anise that she needs to get dressed for dance class. Right now.
5:40pm - leave to take Anise to dance with a piece of cinnamon toast and bowl of goldfish crackers for Anise's supper
5:55pm - get Anise to dance with just enough time to get her shoes on before class starts
6:05pm - go to Grandma Frache's house to pick up eggs
6:25pm - leave Grandma's house to pick up Anise from dance
7pm - leave the dance studio after Anise has given me a lengthy demonstration in the change room of what she did in class
7:15pm - come home and realize that I haven't even tasted the stew, or anything else since lunch time.
Grateful to be done all the running around for the day, I sit down with my stew and biscuits and enjoy the 5 minutes I have until I have to start putting kids in bed. ---

January 25, 2010
--- I've been feeling really crafty lately, but haven't really had (or made) the time to do anything. Today I changed that. I made myself sit down, despite the piles of other things that I 'should do' and made some hair bow for Anise. Because, she doesn't have enough *insert sarcasm here* and because they are such a quick and easy project that I feel like I accomplished a lot in a short amount of time. Unfortunately I ran out of clips so I had to stop before my ideas did. I can't wait to get at it again!---

---Yum. Really what else needs to be said. Sean and I were in Calgary for the RAS Residency interviews, and so we just had to stop at Peters. I'm sure my dream the week before that involved making a Peters run for hundreds of burgers, fries, shakes and onion rings, only to result in one of the Residency applicants eating my onion rings had nothing to do with the fact that I insisted we go there for dinner. And yes, I got Onion Rings. ---

---Ok, so I obviously didn't take this one myself. It's from the movie AVATAR. If you haven't had a chance to see it, GO! NOW! And make sure to see it in 3D. It was such an amazing movie, in every way. Plot, acting, visual effects, sound/music. Seriously the best movie I've ever seen. I want to go again. I never see movies twice in theatres. I'll always wait for it to come out on video to see it again. I could have sat through another screening of the almost 3 hour movie right after seeing it - and that says a lot coming from a 6 month pregnant lady with a bladder the size of a marble ---

--- Jordana (Sean's youngest sister) and I after our painful, yet fun adventure in Nanton. The short story: Sean, Jordana and I were going to Calgary. Just passed Nanton, the car dies. We call AMA and my parents. AMA tows the car to Nanton, my parents meet us in Nanton with our van (THANK-YOU THANK-YOU THANK-YOU!). We leave the car at the truck stop in Nanton, load everything into the van and continue on our way to Calgary, making the 2 hour drive to Calgary a 7 hour escapade. But we made it. ---

--- The crazy crazy thick fog tonight. By morning we could hardly see across the street! The kids thought it was totally cool that the clouds came down for a visit. Anise kept saying "I'm walking in the clouds!" and giggling. ---

---My little ballerina. Tonight was parent viewing at dance class. Anise was SO excited for the 3 of us to come watch her dance (Kaden wasn't quite as enthusiastic) She waved at us every couple of minutes, and kept checking to make sure we were still watching. She would sometimes get distracted by watching herself in the mirror which was so cute to watch. I can't wait for year end show---

---Kaden and Daddy goofing around before bed. I was trying to take a picture of Kaden with his quilt I made him, but he wasn't co-operating. It turned into a big game for the two of them, as most things do. I love how well these two get along---

January 17, 2010
---The view from Sean's parents back deck. There is a hill down to the pond that is great for tobogganing - sadly the snow was all gone when we were there, and if it's cold enough the pond freezes solid enough for skating - sadly it had been above zero for more than a week. But the view is still beautiful---

---We were visiting G & G Wilde for the weekend, and the torch was coming through just 20 minutes away in Olds. Since we were going to be missing it at home the next day we decided to bundle up and wait to see the torch. It was worth standing in the cold for a while - so fun to see it!---

---One of my most favorite things that Sean learned on his mission to France - how to make crepes! I love having these for any meal, but supper is especially nice. One of my favorites is ham and swiss cheese. Good old cinnamon and sugar is always a must too. Yum!---

--- A snapshot of some of the desserts at the Ukrainian Christmas Celebration Sean and I went to. Oh so yummy! There was an unbelievable amount of food. 7 meat dishes (to represent the 7 days of the week), 12 other dishes (to represent the 12 months and the 12 apostles). And then dessert. So much fantastic, delicious food! I seriously dreamed about the perogies, and am currently craving them as I type. I'll have to get the recipe and try my hand at it. It was so much fun, and a great night out kid free. If we're really nice maybe we'll get invited back next year ;-)---

---Oh how I wish I had sound to go along with this one! She was snoring. Not cute little girl snores, but old man chainsaw snores! Just more proof that she is severely sleep deprived after the holidays (like the rest of us)---

---Baby #3 due May 16th We decided to find out the gender with this one, since we didn't with the other two. Now I'm just waiting for my Dr. to get the ultrasound results, since they won't tell you during the ultrasound. Most people have to wait until their next Dr. appointment. Lucky for me, Sean works with my Dr. once a week so we'll find out Tuesday at the latest. Anyone want to wager a guess?---

---We watch a lot of movies around here. So it's no surprise that we get quite a few at Christmas. This year I found this IMAX set at Costco (on sale!) and knew we would just love it. I hate to toot my own horn, but I was right. We've already watched 4 or 5 of them and the kids ask every day if we can watch another one. They aren't quite as impressive without the IMAX screen, but they are still pretty amazing and make for a great cold night family activity!---

---One thing I don't think I could ever get sick of - BANANA BREAD! I made a couple loaves over the holidays and Kaden missed out on getting a piece (hey with 18 people around you gotta act fast!) and was VERY sad. So I made a couple more loaves after everyone had left - that way he was guaranteed a few pieces of his very own. First thing he said to me was "Ooooh banana bread. Can I take it to school?!" ---

---How could this not melt your heart? She was so incredibly exhausted after getting only 5 1/2 hours of sleep the night before and playing hard all day despite the lack of sleep. This was how I found her when I went to check on her before I went to bed---

Better late than never
I've been wanting to do a daily photo journal for a long time now. I just always forget about it until it's May or something. So when my friend Rhonda decided to start her's this year, I decided to jump on board. I'll try to keep it up to date, but lets face it, life happens so I'll do my best and enjoy what I can get done :-)
Enjoy!
Enjoy!
